15 minutes S of Hillsdale. Excellent hunting close to civilization. This farm has a fantanstic balance of food and cover. A large, rolling tillable field covers most of the north portion, drawing big bucks and turkey out of the large stand of timber to the South. Many stand locations are available at all edges of the crop field. The edges are mowed down from the heavy browsing from the deer coming out of the timber to feed. The timber consists of many species of hardwoods including red and white oaks, wild cherry, hickory and more. A trail system has been established and allows you easy access through the timber. The southern portion of the timber is bordered by some very thick lowground that is very thick and close to impenatrable to hold deer effortlessly. This piece has an endless amount of potential stand locations for deer and turkey throughout this piece and should hunt much bigger than its actual size given the terrain changes and excellent balance of habitat.
